Alicia and her family recently relocated from their home in Round Rock, Texas to Orlando, Florida. She attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health in 2003. She then graduated from TWU in 2007 with a Master of Occupational Therapy. Alicia is a nationally board-certified occupational therapist. She has been working with the pediatric population for 11 years and has experience with diagnoses that include: ADD/ADHD, Arthrogryposis, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Brain Injuries, Cancer, Cerebral Palsy, Cognitive Disorders, Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, Dysgraphia, Genetic Disorders, Hydrocephalus, Leigh's Disease, Neurological Disorders, Pelizaeus-Merzbacher Disease, Seizure Disorders, Sensory Feeding Disorders, Sensory Integration Disorders, Spina Bifida, Visual Deficits. She has served as an OT supervisor and has supervised numerous OT students and volunteers in a variety of settings including hospital-based outpatient clinics, privately owned outpatient clinics and home health. She enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and two fur babies. Alicia is excited to join the TLC team and continue her passion of working with children with special needs.
