Dr. Grace Hyland
Grace was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she graduated as a student-athlete from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Minor in Psychology. Grace then graduated from Chatham University in 2016 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Throughout her clinical rotations, she worked at a school for children with special needs providing physical therapy to help students participate in classroom activities. During this time, Grace was exposed to a variety of diagnoses such as cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, chromosomal abnormalities, Down Syndrome, and many more. Grace has always had a passion for working with children and volunteered many hours at a weekend camp and a facility that provides hippotherapy (horse therapy) to children with special needs. Grace is eager to start her career as a pediatric physical therapist on the TLC team.
