Kristin Jones

Kristin graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development in 2016 and graduated in 2020 with her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Spalding University. She started at the age of 15 volunteering with special needs children and then ventured into co-creating and running STEM programming for children of all ages. Kristin specializes in technology, 3D printing, and robotics and uses these mediums to help children reach their peak occupational performance in fun, innovative, and personalized ways.

Throughout graduate school and clinical fieldwork Kristin was able to gain experience  working with children with developmental delay, sensory processing disorders, autism, and feeding difficulties. She was also able to partner with Enabling Technologies (EnTech) in Louisville, KY to incorporate the use of 3D printing in occupational therapy to adapt and create toys as well as use robotics to enhance social-emotional skills in children with Autism.

Kristin is ecstatic to be joining the TLC therapy team and looks forward to providing quality care through collaboration, communication and creative problem solving.
