Dr. Landthis Szabelski
Dr. Landthis Szabelski graduated from Northern Arizona University with a doctoral degree in occupational therapy in May 2020 where she completed fieldwork rotations in acute-care hospitals, and outpatient neurological therapy services for adults.
Dr. Szabelski has experience in formulating home programs for parents of children in early intervention programs. She has also participated in research to determine the psychometric properties of the sensory components of the environment and how they impact the participation of preschool children with autism spectrum disorders.
Prior to becoming an Occupational Therapist, she worked as an elementary teacher which led her to decide to become an occupational therapist. In her role as a teacher, she had extensive experience collaborating with families, teachers, school administration, and staff.
Dr. Szabelski was born and raised in Esmeraldas-Ecuador and has lived in Texas, Colorado, and Phoenix. She is new to the Orlando area and is excited to join the TLC team as an occupational therapist and is looking forward to professional growth in pediatric occupational therapy.
