Monica Suarez was born in Puerto Rico, where she spent the first eleven years of her life. Shortly after, Monica and her family moved to Vancouver, Canada where she spent three years before moving down to Florida. She attended the University of Central Florida where she received her B.S in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She will be graduating with her M.A in Communication Sciences and Disorders as well this December of 2020. She has experience with a broad spectrum of different populations including ASD, Down Syndrome, developmentally delayed, fluency, AAC, oral motor as well as articulation and language disorders. Monica’s passion is working with pediatric populations and creating a positive impact in their lives. In her free time, Monica enjoys spending time outdoors, exercising, traveling, cooking and spending time with friends, family and her pets. Monica is fluent in both English and Spanish. She can also understand and communicate at a basic level in ASL.
