Wanda Figueroa is licensed by the state of Florida and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). She received her Bachelor of Science in 2000 and Master of Speech-Language Pathology in 2008 from Texas Women’s University in Denton, Texas.
Wanda is a bilingual speech-language pathologist, fluent in English and Spanish. Wanda also understands and communicates in Basic American Sign Language: Wanda gained her experience working in public schools in Texas, Charter Schools, Pediatric outpatient rehabilitation settings, and private practice settings in the Central Florida area.
Wanda has experience in the following areas: Dysphagia, Oral Motor Deficits, Early Intervention, Language-Based Learning Delays and Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Auditory Processing Disorder, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Cleft Lip and Palate, Cerebral Palsy, as well as phonological processing disorders and Articulation Disorders.
