Health Director
Doug Stafford is a native of central Florida and started working in administration with children in 1998. He takes great pride in helping children and families achieve their goals in a strong supportive environment. He has been the Health Director with TLC Pediatric Therapy since October 2002. Doug majored in Health Services Administration and Health Information Management at the University of Central Florida before completing his degree at Kaplan University in Health Care Administration Technology and Public Health. As Health Director he is responsible for putting a team of therapists and doctors together that have a passion and background in the field of pediatrics. He is a proponent of natural environment services and believes in the importance of supporting team work between the therapists and physicians to promote a well-rounded approach to therapy that benefits both patients and their families. Doug is an advocate for patient and family health-care rights and works hand-in-hand with local organizations and state agencies as well as insurance providers to ensure all children receive the utmost care and services they require. Doug works closely with the Autism Society of Greater Orlando and has had the opportunity to volunteer for the Spina Bifida Association of Central Florida.
