Kristian received her Bachelors in Health Sciences and Masters of Science from Florida International University in Miami, Fl. Kristian began her career in a private based pediatric outpatient therapy clinic in Ocala, Florida. After moving back to South Florida in 2009, she worked for a skilled nursing facility which provided care to a variety of patients; primarily with neurological disorders, acute rehabilitation for orthopedic patients, and medically complex patients as the facility maintained a tracheostomy unit. In 2010, Kristian began working as an Early Steps provider for the Treasure Coast, allowing for her to pursue her passion and extend her knowledge in the pediatric field. Following this, she began working for Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in the outpatient pediatric facility in Miramar, FL.
During her collective career in pediatrics, Kristian has worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient pediatrics, home health pediatrics, and providing private services within a school. Kristian has experience working with a wide variety of neurological disorders, genetic disorders, sensory processing disorder, and feeding aversion. Kristian strives to include parents/caregivers in the therapeutic process to integrate various domains of their lives and improve overall outcome of services for the client.
