Occupational Therapist in Orlando, FL
Melissa graduated from Seton Hall University, where she earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Social Behavioral Sciences (2000) and her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (2002). She is a board certified occupational therapist and has worked in various settings with both adult and pediatric populations.
Melissa has collaborated with other professionals as part of an Early Autism Center of Excellence, providing assessment and treatment of children on the Autism Spectrum. She has also worked with leaders in neurosurgery to develop a concussion Return to Learn program. She has collaborated with neonatologists and other professionals as part of a neonatal follow-up clinic.
Melissa has assisted in establishing and leading the Special Olympics Young Athletes Program within the Lake Nona community. Melissa is excited to be a part of the TLC family and is passionate about providing quality therapy services to children and their families in Central Florida.
