Nicolette Alcaide

Nicolette Alcaide was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Central Florida as a child and has lived here for most of her life. Nicolette graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2018 with a B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders as a first-generation college student. She graduated from the University of Central Florida in December 2020 with a M.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Nicolette has experience with the pediatric, adult, and geriatric ages, working in clinics, private practices, schools, and community centers. Nicolette has worked with a diverse population including ASD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, stroke, developmental delays, degenerative diseases, targeting language disorders, articulation disorders, fluency, dysphagia, oral motor, AAC, etc. Nicolette is able to understand and communicate at a conversational level in ASL. Nicolette enjoys working with all populations and all areas, as the passion stems from helping others.
