Shannon attended the University of Massachusetts and received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology in 1992 and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 1995. Shannon had always planned a career working with children and when physical therapy was suggested to her it seemed to be a good match. She had an amazing experience during college working with severely involved children at The Children’s Extended Care Center in Groton Massachusetts and a clinical experience at Boston Children’s Hospital which solidified her desire to work with children. She has worked in Massachusetts, Arizona and New York with children birth to 21 in home and school settings.
Shannon has experience with children with Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism and many other diagnoses. Shannon enjoys her career in pediatrics and loves working closely with the children and their families. She works with other professionals to have a more well rounded approach to treatment and she strives to have the children reach their potential at every stage of development.
