Shannon Martineau was born and raised in Maine and earned her bachelor’s degree from University of New England. Shannon has extensive volunteer experience through her two years with AmeriCorps as a mentor/tutor for Children with Special Needs and on a Lion Reserve in Zimbabwe working with Lions and Elephants and helping with their community outreach. Shannon earned her Masters of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern Maine.
She has experience in providing services through direct treatment, telehealth, and in the school setting. Shannon has worked with children with sensory processing, autism, visual processing, visual motor integration, fine motor skills, executive functioning, activities of daily living, and functional life skills. Shannon has also worked in the fields of pediatric mental health services, as an after-school program coordinator, and as a Behavioral Health Professional providing 1 on 1 direct support to clients with various disabilities. Shannon is an avid traveler and nature lover, who loves Disney, cats, and Boston sports.
