Janilyz Feliciano Diaz, M.S., CCC-SLP
Bilingual Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist
Janilyz is a bilingual (Spanish/English) speech-language pathologist who is deeply committed to helping children find their voice. Originally from Puerto Rico and now living in Florida for over 14 years, she brings warmth, cultural sensitivity, and a deep understanding of family dynamics to her therapeutic approach.
With a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Emerson College and a background in school-based, environment and clinical settings, Janilyz has experience evaluating and treating a broad range of communication disorders. Her clinical expertise includes dysphagia, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) related disorders, fluency disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, cognitive impairments, feeding, and AAC implementation. She is currently serving the pediatric population at TLC Pediatric Therapies, where she creates individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that prioritize functional outcomes and family involvement.
Before entering the speech-language pathology field, Janilyz worked as a certified chiropractic physician’s assistant for eight years. This role strengthened her interdisciplinary collaboration, patient education, and case management skills; experience she now brings into her work as an SLP.
Janilyz is known for her engaging personality, strong clinical reasoning, and ability to connect with both children and caregivers. She thrives in team settings and is passionate about empowering families through education and consistent support.
Outside of her professional life, Janilyz is a lover of nature, animals, farmers markets, and anything involving adventure. She’s a sunset chaser, cruise enthusiast, and firm believer in balancing structure with spontaneity, both in life and in therapy.
