Nicolette Alcaide was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Central Florida as a child and has lived here for most of her life. Nicolette graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2018 with a B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders as a first-generation college student. She graduated from the University of Central Florida in December 2020 with a M.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Nicolette has experience with the pediatric, adult, and geriatric ages, working in clinics, private practices, schools, and community centers. Nicolette has worked with a diverse population including ASD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, stroke, developmental delays, degenerative diseases, targeting language disorders, articulation disorders, fluency, dysphagia, oral motor, AAC, etc. Nicolette can understand and communicate at a conversational level in ASL. Nicolette enjoys working with all populations and all areas, as the passion stems from helping others.
