Maryuri Lopez Santana – Speech Pathologist

Maryuri is a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist originally from Colombia. She relocated to the United States with her family 18 years ago. Maryuri earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Speech-Language Pathology, as well as a Master’s degree in Audiology, from a university in Colombia. She later enhanced her academic training by completing an advanced degree in Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology at Columbia University in New York City. Maryuri’s professional background includes extensive experience working with pediatric populations. In Colombia, she worked in hospitals, schools, and private pediatric clinics in Bogotá. After moving to the United States, she spent over a decade providing early intervention services and supporting children through the Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) in New York City and Westchester County. She also served children from birth to 21 years of age for four years at a pediatric clinic in Houston, Texas. For the past four years, Maryuri has been based in Florida, where she continues to serve children in schools, private practice, and through telehealth services. She is passionate about delivering culturally and linguistically responsive care and is committed to supporting children and families from diverse backgrounds.
