Shruti Arora – Physical Therapist

Dr. Shruti Arora was born in Punjab, India and moved to the United States to find home with her better half in the year 2003. She attended Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, graduating with a bachelors of physical therapy in 2003.  Always on her quest for further advancement, she received her Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Montana in 2013 and eventually a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2017. Dr. Shruti’s passion for patient care has been exemplified throughout her career, serving in a multitude of orthopedic, acute inpatient, trauma, as well as cardiac and oncology rehabilitation settings in Hackensack Hospital in NJ as well as internationally. She has served the geriatric population for over more than nine years working in close collaboration with “Seniors Helping Seniors” in New York. In 2015, Dr. Shruti made her way to Florida where she found her passion in caring for the pediatric population. Recently, Dr. Shruti became certified as an Advanced Autism Specialist assisting children of unique abilities to unleash their hidden and magical potential. Dr. Shruti in addition is also certified as an Infant Massage Coach specializing in pre-mature children providing manual therapy for neonates with hypotonia, congenital and spinal muscular atrophies. Dr. Shruti continues to work in close conjunction with adolescent athletes as well as neuro-muscular and genetic diagnosis such as Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Down’s syndrome, and developmental delay. Her continued efforts to constantly push children outside their comfort zone, helps them to embrace challenges, strive for growth and become the best and most confident version of themselves. In her free time, Dr. Shruti loves to stay active with her outdoor activities as well as gardening, biking, running and her love of yoga.
